Dune: Awakening has been out on PC since June 2025. During that time, we have added a ton of new content and enhancements, all of which will be in the XBOX version on day one. The main Xbox Showcase starts at 1 p.m. EST (click here for your local time). The Gears of War: E-Day Direct starts “immediately following” the Xbox showcase.

Well, we 100-percent know for a fact that the next entry in the Gears of War series, the prequel game Gears of War: E-Day, will be there. And that’s about all that I can guarantee and that Xbox has confirmed ahead of Sunday. Expect to see some of the game during the main show and then a whole lot more during the Direct following the event. We’re likely to get a release date here. Will E-Day still be arriving later this year, or will it, like Fable, slide into 2027?
