By using Ttek2 (this website) you agree to the terms below. They're written to be plain-English and to describe what the site actually is, not to copy a generic legal template.
What this site is
Ttek2 is a topic hub and search engine for technology news. We aggregate signals from public sources — news outlets, RSS feeds, public forums, vendor stores — and surface them on topic pages and in search results. We don't host original editorial content. Snippets and excerpts are shown for indexing and discovery; full articles live on their original publishers' sites and are linked accordingly.
Use
You may use the site to read, search, and navigate. You may share links to its pages.
You may not:
- Scrape the site at a rate that interferes with normal service. The crawler that builds our own index respects
robots.txt; we expect the same courtesy. - Attempt to bypass rate limits, defeat security controls, or probe for vulnerabilities without authorization. If you believe you've found a security issue, see Security disclosure below.
- Use the site to harass anyone, post unlawful content, or impersonate others (this applies to RigBoard discussions, comments, and any other interactive feature).
- Republish substantial portions of our extracted snippets or aggregated data as if it were your own. Snippets are sourced from third parties; please link back to the original.
Content from third parties
Most text and images visible on Ttek2 originated elsewhere. Article titles, snippets, thumbnails, and other extracted metadata are presented for discovery and indexing under the same fair-use principles that apply to a search engine. Each item links to its source.
If you are a publisher and want your content de-listed from our index, email us at the address below. We honor takedown requests promptly. We also honor noindex meta tags, X-Robots-Tag headers, and robots.txt directives — if your robots policy says "don't index," we don't.
Trademarks, logos, and brand names belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on this site is descriptive ("this article is about X") and is not an endorsement.
User contributions (RigBoard, comments)
When the optional discussion features (RigBoard, comments) are available and you choose to participate:
- You retain ownership of what you post.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your content within the site for as long as the post exists.
- You're responsible for what you post. Don't post things you don't have the right to post.
- We may remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines, or that we determine to be spam, harassment, or illegal.
- We may delete inactive accounts and their content.
Pricing data
The price-tracking widgets that appear on topic pages and search results pull current prices from Steam, GOG, and other vendor APIs. These prices reflect what the vendor returned at the time of our last refresh (typically every 6 hours). Prices on the actual store at the moment you click through may differ. We don't sell anything ourselves and we don't have an affiliate relationship that influences which products surface or how — see our Privacy Policy for the details.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is." We try to be accurate but we can't guarantee that every snippet, price, headline, or topic association is correct, current, or complete. Index data, AI-generated summaries, and machine-classified topics will sometimes be wrong. Don't rely on this site for purchase decisions, investment decisions, safety-critical information, or anything where being wrong matters.
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and don't endorse them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the site is limited to whatever you paid us to access the site (typically: nothing).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — e.g., for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence in jurisdictions where that's not waivable.
Security disclosure
If you find a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to contact@ttek2.com before any public disclosure. Provide enough detail to reproduce. We'll acknowledge promptly and won't take legal action against good-faith research.
Changes
When we change these terms in a way that materially affects your use of the site, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, when feasible, post a notice on the homepage for a reasonable period. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. We won't change them retroactively to disadvantage past contributions.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access from a particular IP, account, or visitor when these terms are violated, or when access is disrupting the service for others. You can stop using the site at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes that can't be resolved by writing to contact@ttek2.com first go to the courts of Ireland. EU/UK consumers retain mandatory rights under their local consumer law.

Plain-English summary, not a substitute for the full text above: use the site reasonably, don't try to break it, third-party content belongs to its publishers, prices may be stale, we're not liable for things going wrong, takedown requests are honored, EU/UK consumer rights apply where they apply.
