Yes, especially if you're still building up your base. While Eikthyrdeer Terra isn't designed for combat, its Lumbering support makes it much more valuable than its stats suggest. The passive boost to every other Lumbering Pal can increase overall wood production without requiring any extra management. Its double jump also makes exploration more comfortable during the early and mid game, giving it value outside the base as well. Even after unlocking stronger combat Pals, Eikthyrdeer Terra remains a useful utility Pal that earns its place in many bases.

Whenever you capture or kill (either through combat or by butchering them with a Meat Cleaver or Pal Disassembly Conveyor), you'll get 100% more items from that Pal, but only if they have the Lavish Hospitality perk. Of course, if you kill a Pal in combat, it would already be too late to know if they have this passive or not, but if you capture or breed them, you'll know by checking their info screen. Lavish Hospitality is useless in combat, and it provides no value for Pals working at your base either. If you see a Pal that has this passive trait, you might as well butcher it for more drops.

Without changing any settings, you can have a maximum of four bases in Palworld 1.0. This includes any bases you place on secluded islands, or on Feybreak Island. Then, for each of the four bases, the maximum number of working Pals is 15. However, if you change your World Settings you can have a maximum of 10 bases across the map and each with a maximum of 50 working pals. As of Palworld 1.0 the maximum level for a base is Level 35.
