Creator 'lemorion_1224' and programmer Haganeiro originally met in the Fortnite custom map creator community, and together came up with this wacky, extreme hide-and-seek concept. Instead of trying to match a color by adjusting it yourself, the Eyedropper lets you copy the exact color of any nearby surface with a single click. This makes hiding much easier because you don’t have to waste time guessing which shade is the closest. Since the hiding phase only lasts a short time, the Eyedropper can be a real lifesaver. It has helped me get a high Missed Point Ranking in quite a few matches, and here's how you can use it:

When a hunter hits a chameleon, their ammo is restored. So even if they start with 5 ammo, if they only use it to hit a chameleon, they'll still have 5 left. However, if you shoot a spot that isn't a chameleon, then you're going to forever use that bullet, and if you use all your ammo, you won't be able to shoot a chameleon even if they're right in front of you! If all the hunters are out of ammo, the chameleons will automatically win the round; that way, you won't have to wait around and be teased for missing your shots when hiders are in good hiding spots. The word "Eeyan" is a Japanese term for "That's great." In Meccha Chameleon, when you get to the Answer Check portion at the end of the round, you can walk the map and see other players' spots where they hid. You can give an Eeyan to your fellow players while looking at someone who has an excellent hiding spot, did a good paint job, or even just makes you laugh. The Eeyans are displayed above player names next to a thumbs-up symbol. This is a permanent number that gets carried with the player across lobbies and groups.
