Directive 8020

If you have any fondness for the previous Dark Pictures games, then you absolutely need to play Directive 8020. As somebody who’s played them all, it’s the best of the bunch. The sci-fi setting is everything I hoped it would be, the gameplay upgrades are great, some of the decisions you must make are darn difficult, and Turning Points is an awesome inclusion. I even recommend Directive 8020 to players who haven’t clicked with The Dark Pictures. I spotted a particularly creepy image before tape four plays. You have to search frame by frame to spot it. Though it’s somewhat illegible, the image seems to show a woman looking at a man who has his hands up—just like The Craven Man logo and… The Wicker Man. This image appears to be taken inside a European town, and it looks like there’s a photograph of the woods in the room where the recordings are being played. Based on everything I’ve mentioned, I’m sure the next Dark Picture will be The Craven Man. If correct, this title should investigate animal and human sacrifices and pagan ritualism.

This trophy starts during the section “Suspicions,” in Episode 5, after you complete the Chemical Agents puzzle in the same area. When Cooper talks to Anders, Anders will accuse Williams of hiding something and mention that she can hack his computer if they somehow sedate Williams. Here you will have multiple dialogue options, and you need to pick the following: What’s his game plan? You sly old fox What do you propose we do? These answers ensure that Cooper agrees with Anders on making the sedative. Proceed through the game, and eventually Anders will bring Williams coffee with the

Once you arrive at the split path during the Search Party section, Cernan will have to choose between two routes. Before making your decision, open the messages app and speak with Anders for hints about her location. She mentions that she does not remember which path she took, but she does recall crossing a bridge that later collapsed. She also says the cave she is currently hiding in has stalactites hanging from the ceiling. These clues are extremely important and point directly toward the real Anders. At first, you might think the choice does not matter much since you can simply return and c
