Do You Have It Already?

If you play Destiny 2 a lot, you might forget how expansive your Vault space is. In fact, with the Monument of Triumph update, I've basically just used it as a dumping ground to place every weapon inside, good or bad. As such, the next time you get a weapon roll and think "that's pretty good!" you might want to check your Vault to see if it's actually already there. For instance, do you really need 5 Zaouli's Bane god rolls?

Is It a Legacy / Sunset Weapon?

Destiny 2's biggest controversy over the years is perhaps the way it sunsets content, and weapons are included in the mix. There are plenty of guns that you just can't get anymore, but one of the rarest of them all has to be the Traveler's Chosen (Damaged), which is unique to those who played the Red War campaign and refused to dismantle their 0 Damage Sidearm. If you have a legacy weapon like this, then maybe stash it in the vault to remember how long you've been a veteran for.
