Can The Groove Last?

That’s the question hanging over Dead as Disco: sustainability. The main thing that's been added to Dead as Disco in its early access period is the first chunk of its campaign, which sees Charlie Disco going up against his former bandmates, known as Idols, to try and reunite them and find out how he died. There are currently four Idols in Dead as Disco's early access release, with each having its own dedicated stage and boss battle. This incentivises you to replay the story missions to pick up collectibles and advance the story with the Idols. The Encore Bar itself can also be upgraded and brought back to life with trinkets and repairs, which you'll need to purchase using Fans earned by completing levels. Fans are

What Other Features Are Coming In Early Access?

The official Steam page for Dead as Disco has shared a roadmap and all the current plans for the game as it aims for a 1.0 launch at some point next year. Those planned features include more Idols, a proper endgame, Hard mode, co-op, more music, more skills, BPM detection for uploaded songs, and much more. Suffice to say that Dead as Disco is only going to get bigger in the next year or so, as the developers clearly have a lot planned for the game. We'll keep updating this guide as more and more content is added to the game, but there's still plenty to do in this first go of its early access.
