Crunchyroll not licensing any of the other Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime ahead of Gun Blaze Vengeance is a travesty, and what makes it worse is that there’s a precedent for it. While Nanoha is easily one of the best magical girl anime around, the franchise has never been a success outside Japan; DVD sales for the original anime and A’s were so bad that the third anime, Strikers, was never licensed, and ViVid Strike!, the only anime to get a simulcast, is no longer available on Prime Video, suggesting it wasn’t successful enough to be worth keeping around.
