Since Paralives is being praised as the next great successor to The Sims, many people are calling for features they're used to, like pets and pools, as well as a few new things they haven't seen yet, such as functional vehicles. These features are on the list to come to Paralives, but are not available on release. There aren't specific dates for any of their updates to come for now. During early access, Paralives costs $39.99. After this phase ends, though, the price will be increased. It’ll be at least a couple of years before this happens, though. Many free updates will be added to the game over the early access period and beyond, and all future expansions will be completely free, as the devs have vowed there will never be paid DLCs.

There are no official tools for building a basement in your Paralives home yet. However, basement tools are a part of the Paralives roadmap and will be coming sometime within the early access period, which is listed as 2026-2028.

Unlike some Steam launches that unlock at midnight local time, Paralives is releasing worldwide at the same moment. That means players in different time zones will see the game become available at different local hours, but everyone gets access simultaneously.
