Syncing data across devices is undeniably convenient and helpful, and for the most part, we tend to trust the fact that our data is kept safe. Your clipboard is typically tied to a user account protected by a password and (hopefully) two-factor authentication, so there should be no reason to worry. And yet, hacks happen. Data is sold by large corporations all the time for advertising revenue, and you never know when your private data may end up in some else's hands. It can seem innocuous, but we copy all kinds of things on our computers, including emails and passwords. Having that information
