The display is stored in housings along the edges of the lid as sections of a flexible OLED panel, and when activated dual motors drive motorized rails outward to pull those sections out and widen the screen. The rear lid has structural cutouts for the sliding mechanism and a shorter, centrally positioned hinge to stay clear of the expanding channels. Answered
