Speaking to the BBC, Frampton explained why he wanted to make this docuseries: "Before I started working on this documentary series I didn’t know much about probation. But going behind the scenes with the Probation Board for Northern Ireland has been a real eye-opener for me. I’ve met people with long criminal records – and the Probation staff working with them, trying to make sure they get their lives back on the straight and narrow."
