Whether or not people are actually desperate enough for the sold out Steam Controller that they'll be willing to pay as much as three times more than Valve is charging for them remains to be seen. As far as I can tell, none of the scalpers are trying their luck by having potential customers bid for their unwanted controllers. They're all listed under buy-it-now prices, likely a test to see just how much people who missed out on pre-orders might be willing to pay.
