A Cap N' Snap is a gacha-style gumball-looking machine where, using bottlecaps as currency, you can receive a random blueprint for a cosmetic or decoration. If you have a bottlecap in your inventory, simply interact with the machine to use it. There are only two machines per biome, but there are a lot of bottlecaps in the world, so collecting all the rewards isn't difficult. The first thing you notice in Outbound is that your campervan is tediously slow. I’ve been in some slow campervans in my day, but this one takes the top prize for world’s slowest. I have a feeling that the van has been designed to be this slow to maximize the feeling of exploration without having to deliver anything interesting to do or even look at as you drive along.
