The main event of Invincible VS is its story mode, which tells an original story that's loosely based on the TV show. As good as the story mode is, though, don't go in expecting it to have the same scope and scale as a NetherRealm campaign, as it's pretty short overall. A Normal difficulty playthrough will take you just over an hour to complete. If you want to fully complete the campaign and unlock its second hidden reward, you'll need to beat the game on Hard difficulty, which will require a replay unless you tought it out first go. Outside of the story mode, Invincible VS' main single-player offering is its arcade mode, which lets you choose a specific ladder to play through and see a character's ending. The shortest ladder is five matches, while the highest has 12 matches on the hardest difficulty. You'll need to play at least one of each type to get all of the trophies, but you'll likely spend most of the runs on the quickest option. If you're trying to get Invincible VS' Platinum trophy, you can expect to put a lot more time into than those just wanting to play its single-player modes. You'll need to see every arcade ending, level up every character to at least Level 20 (which takes a long time) perform some of its main mechanics 100 times, and reach Player Level 50. All of this will take a good amount of time, as I'd only reached Level 20 with one character and Player Level 25 after doing everything in single-player.
