Currently, we know that the God of War live-action series' showrunner and writer is Ronald D. Moore, who is known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and Outlander. God of War "adapts the acclaimed Norse mythology era, following Kratos and Atreus on a quest to spread Faye's ashes at the highest peak, balancing Kratos teaching his son to be a god and Atreus teaching his father to be human", according to an official synopsis from Amazon.
