It seems that the hacker(s) did not progress very far into the game. Based on official material released by Rockstar, we know that GTA 6 begins with Lucia locked up in Leonida Penitentiary after "fighting for her family." Early screenshots and trailers show Lucia in orange prison scrubs or working out while locked up. She is evidently released from prison at some point early on in the game, and Jason picks her up to restart their life together. One gameplay clip did show Cyberleek flying over Leonida Penitentiary, though.
Some fans aren't aware of GTA 6's premise, while others have simply been duped by an onslaught of misinformation surrounding the game. As Cyberleek has shared more footage, the hacking group has held votes to ask the public what they'd like to see next. The most recent vote led to the unveiling of a GTA 6 hypercar. Prior to that, screenshots showing the words "Lucia Ending Video" circulated and caused a ruckus despite being completely fake. So far, aside from some thinly-veiled barbs at Rockstar, the leaks haven't contained that much story material. It's mostly been random gameplay of Jason Du
People believe this to be the real GTA 6 map primarily because Cyberleek has already shared new footage of the game that would be difficult to forge even with the help of AI. The clips are somewhat aimless — like this one, where Jason gets into a random car accident that turns into a highway fight. The low-key nature of the gameplay lends credibility that this is footage of an actual person playing GTA 6, albeit what may be an unfinished version of the game. Another aspect that makes the leak seem real is that it matches teases given by Rockstar in the last major update for GTA Online, which i
The political nature of these leaks is apparent even without visiting the hackers' website. All footage and images stemming from the leak are plastered with watermarks that claim Cyberleek is "fighting for gamer's rights." On August 19, one day after threatening Rockstar with further leaks, the hacking group made good on its promise by sharing a third gameplay clip. The clip doesn't show anything particularly mind-blowing — mostly, it's Jason running around, tasering a random group of people. The latest GTA 6 leak is, however, twice as long as any clip posted before it. "No physical discs?" re
