The GIGABYTE AERO X16 is a 16-inch multi-scenario AI laptop from GIGABYTE, designed for gaming, content creation, productivity, and coding. It runs on the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU, is available with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, RTX 5060, or RTX 5050 GPU, and includes GIGABYTE’s exclusive GiMATE on-device AI smart agent.

The primary difference is the GPU. The RTX 5070 has a dedicated 8GB GDDR7 VRAM pool and more CUDA cores, making it better suited for 4K gaming and heavy creative workloads. The RTX 5050 uses shared memory with a lower CUDA core count, resulting in lower power draw, and slightly quieter operation. The chassis, display, CPU, battery, and GiMATE software are identical across both models.

Both the GIGABYTE AERO X16 models have a 76Wh battery rated for up to 14 hours of runtime. This is achieved through GiMATE’s AI Power Gear III, which can disable or limit the discrete GPU when on battery to extend endurance.
