An online commenter tried to convince me recently that Framework laptops are a “joke” simply because of the premium price the company charges for upgrades. $450 or so buys you a new Mainboard to upgrade an existing Framework laptop. Compared to the laptops I tested against, there are several cases where Framework charges $600 or so more. But Framework isn’t alone in adjusting its prices.
