Nintendo Switch is a hybrid game console made by Nintendo, sold as the original 2017 Switch, the OLED revision, the Switch Lite, and the 2024 Switch 2 successor; the line uses Joy-Con controllers and the Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo's estimates say the Switch 2's battery lasts anywhere between 2 and 6.5 hours of playtime. That's a pretty wide net, and it just about falls within our experience. But there are lots of things to consider here. The type of game being played (Tears of the Kingdom will use more battery than, say, Deltarune), GameChat being used — with or without camera — Mouse Mode in tabletop mode, etc. Battery life will be much more variable on Switch 2 compared to Switch 1 at the very least.
