Should You Buy the iMac?
The iMac is Apple's most iconic desktop machine, featuring a 24-inch display and the M4 chip. The iMac is currently Apple's only desktop Mac with a built-in display. Apple last updated the iMac in October 2024, adding a faster M4 chip, new colors, and a handful of other improvements. A new model is expected sometime in 2026, but we don't have information on timing yet. If you need an iMac now, it is an okay time to buy, but with a refresh coming, you might want to hold off.
