When players first hear the name Dylan Faden, it is easy to assume he is simply Jesse's missing brother. Jesse and Dylan were separated following the Ordinary Altered World Event. Throughout Control, Jesse's search for Dylan serves as one of the main motivations behind her journey through the Oldest House. While she eventually finds him, the reunion is far from the happy ending many players might have expected. Years of experimentation and exposure to supernatural forces left Dylan vulnerable to the Hiss invasion. He ultimately becomes one of the Hiss' most powerful hosts and acts as a major threat during the latter portions of the game. Following the final confrontation, Dylan falls into a coma
