Laufey is a Jotnar from Jotunheim, who is the mother of Atreus/Loki and wife to Kratos. Often referred to as 'Faye', she was respected across Midgard and the Norse Realms as a fierce warrior who would often stand for the oppressed against the tyranny of the Aesir Gods, like Odin and Thor. Faye's story in the God of War series is born from tragedy, as our first introduction to her is during her funeral, where Kratos and Atreus are mourning her passing with her cremation.
