Igor Bonifacic for Engadget You don't need to pay for a Pro or Max subscription to access Claude Voice, but Anthropic limits free accounts to using the tool through its Haiku and Sonnet models. For most prompts, Sonnet should offer more than enough intelligence. To route your prompts through Anthropic's more Opus powerful model, a paid subscription is required. Voice mode conversations count against your usage limits. Anthropic also limits free accounts to a single connection, though you can use the tool in all the languages it currently supports.
How to use Claude's voice mode - EngadgetMeasuring accuracy in LLMs can be tricky, as there's no straight answer. The specific model you're using and the prompt you feed into it play an important role in the quality of the output. When it comes to flagship models — Claude Fable 5 (Max) and GPT 5.6 Sol (Max) — Claude is marginally more accurate according to the AA-Omniscience Accuracy benchmark. The scores stand at 61 percent and 59 percent, respectively. Because the difference is so marginal, you'll rarely notice it in day-to-day usage.
