For those new to the show or if you need a refresher, you can binge season 1 of X-Men '97 on Disney Plus.  If you want to delve further into the lore, then all five seasons of X-Men: The Animated Series are also available on Disney Plus, which will give you further background on the likes of Apocalypse, Cable, Bishop and Mr. Sinister. If that isn't enough to satisfy your appetite for Marvel animation, then What If...? is a good shout, with the 2021 anthology show exploring alternate realities in the MCU with a similar willingness to tell bigger, stranger stories.
