This will be the first time in a while that Amazon is holding its summer Prime Day event so early. Prime Day has traditionally been held in July, but will officially kick off on June 23 this year. However, this wouldn't be the first shift we've seen. In 2020, it was pushed to October due to COVID-19; in the following year, the event took place in June. In 2022, the retailer had events in both July and October.

It's important to note that while the Apple Store doesn't run sales for the June Prime Day (and rarely offers discounts outside of educational promos), deals on Apple devices and accessories can be found from authorized retailers, including Amazon.
