Should you buy the Honor Magic V6?

I’ve been very happy using the Honor Magic V6 for the last few weeks, and right now, should be telling you it’s a brilliant buy. While I do think it's a good buy — there are no glaring fundamental issues with it — it comes with further advice to not rush into it at all. The Honor Magic V6 doesn’t separate itself from other big-screen folding phones, especially if you miss out on the special offer price. It’s a problem of Honor’s own making. If the Magic V6 came to the UK in March when we first saw it, it wouldn’t be butting up against whatever Samsung’s doing with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Apple’s

What about the specs?

The Honor Watch 6 has a 1.46-inch AMOLED screen with a 464 x 464 pixel resolution, a 980mAh battery, 4GB of memory, and the app operates with both Android and iOS devices. For fitness tracking, the smartwatch has more than 120 different sports available to track, and dual-band GPS onboard too. The battery life is going to vary depending on use, but an extended battery mode will push it to around 35 days, according to Honor. The smartwatch will also track sleep, stress, blood oxygen, and heart rate. It also has a Quick Health Scan feature, which shows key data points at a glance. It’s good to s

When will it be available?

The Honor Watch 6 will be available to buy in the UK, but Honor has not confirmed any US launch. The brown leather strap model will be £250 (about $335), and the black rubber strap version will cost £230 (about $308). If you’re early and get an order in before July 17, the price will be reduced to £170 (about $228) for the brown leather strap watch, and £150 (about $201) for the black rubber watch. This makes it considerably cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 and Apple Watch Series 11, if both of those are out of your budget.

What about music?

Inside the Enco Air5s is a 12mm dynamic driver with a Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire coil, all hidden inside a specially designed acoustic cavity. Oppo also uses an Adaptive Sound Enhancement system that apparently compensates for sound leakage, which is always an issue with semi-in-ear, or open earbuds. I used YouTube Music on the Honor Magic V6 to stream music to the Enco Air5s. The earbuds are set to an Ultimate Sound profile by default in the HeyMelody app, and it’s bright and powerful, emphasizing vocals more than bass. Switch to the optimistically named Thunderous Bass profile, and you feel m
