The iPhone Air has reportedly sold worse than Apple expected. The Information reported in November that Apple had indefinitely delayed the release of a second-generation model due to those lower-than-expected sales. Apple reportedly “notified engineers and suppliers that they were taking the next iPhone Air off the schedule without providing a new release date.” Shortly thereafter, however, The Information updated its reporting to say Apple wasn’t canceling the iPhone Air 2 altogether and that one is still very much in the works.
